Andi Regan
Andi Regan is a full-time artist based in Wanaka. Originally from the United Kingdom, Andi studied Textile Design & Surface Patterning, before making New Zealand her home. Andi utilizes ordinary everyday objects (cable ties) & transforms them into forms that explore the natural world. The idea of utilizing something which has been discarded or taken for granted & turning it into something desirable creatively compels her.
Andi’s formal training can be seen within her work as she constantly explores the harmony of textures & patterning. Aiming to push the boundaries of conventional textile, Andi creates three-dimensional wall sculptures by using experimental techniques of fusing, tying & folding.
Andi Regan’s sculptural works are held in private & public collections throughout New Zealand & overseas.
We are proud to support, Andi Regan!
